Nagoya: President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani met a delegation from the Doha 2030 Asian Games Organising Committee on the sidelines of the 20th Asian Games (Aichi-Nagoya 2026) in Japan.
The delegation is taking part in the Observer Programme at the Games.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary-General of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC), H E Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain, and the CEO of the Doha 2030 Asian Games Organising Committee, Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Buainain, along with other members of the delegation.
Sheikh Joaan was briefed on the delegation's participation in the programme, which offers a chance to learn about the organisational and operational aspects of the current Games and to gain practical insights and experience in staging the continental event.
