Nico O'Reilly Crowned PFA Young Player of the Year
Manchester City's versatile 21-year-old midfielder Nico O'Reilly has claimed the 2026 PFA Young Player of the Year award. O'Reilly enjoyed a remarkable breakthrough campaign under Pep Guardiola, emerging as a vital fixture in City's rotation with mature displays across midfield and defense.
O'Reilly came out on top against an exceptional young shortlist that included teammate Rayan Cherki, Arsenal's teenage sensation Max Dowman, Manchester United's Kobbie Mainoo, Liverpool's Rio Ngumoha, and AFC Bournemouth's Junior Kroupi.
2025/26 PFA Premier League Team of the Year Unveiled
The PFA also officially announced the Premier League Team of the Year XI. Premier League champions Arsenal lead the team with five total inclusions following their dominant title-winning campaign, while Manchester City, Manchester United, Bournemouth, and Brentford are all represented.
