The 3-0 scoreline makes history as the largest winning margin ever recorded in a World Cup fixture between Nigeria and England across senior men's, senior women's, and youth tournament encounters. Having now racked up 13 goals across their last two fixtures, the two-time tournament runners-up move on to Łódź for a quarter-final clash on Sunday against either host nation Poland or Colombia.
