Sabalenka set the initial pace, firing 12 aces on the day and leaning on her first-serve accuracy to keep Nosková pinned deep. After trading breaks across a tight opening set, Sabalenka elevated her return game in the set one tiebreak, racing away 7-1 to claim the opener. However, Nosková, the reigning Wimbledon champion, refused to yield. The 21-year-old Czech responded with 18 aces of her own, breaking Sabalenka in the fourth game of the second set to level the match 6-3 and send the contest into a deciding third frame.
The final set turned into a high-stakes war of attrition as neither player surrendered an inch on serve. With the tension inside Arthur Ashe Stadium reaching a crescendo, the match proceeded into a high-pressure 10-point match tiebreak. Sabalenka’s big-stage experience proved decisive in the crucial moments. Landing 95% of her first serves down the stretch, Sabalenka closed out the tiebreak 10-7 to seal the win after nearly two and a half hours. With the toughest test of her tournament behind her, Sabalenka advances to face the winner of Jessica Pegula and Emma Navarro for a spot in the final.
